Today Nelly and I went to Welburn Gourd Farm to hand pick some gourds for future projects. I have a new series I want to create. This new series will require very thick gourds so I chose to drive to the farm to look specifically for some gourds that might work for these creations. Here are a couple of photos we shot at the farm.

Day One Of The Trip to Bring Justine & Kimberly to The USA

Due to the fact that this weekend is the Labor Day holiday traffic this friday was tough to deal with in California. We are on our way to Los Angeles Airport where we will fly out to the Philippines to bring Kimberly and Justine to the United States where they will begin their new lives. Tonight we are in Hesperia California. We decided to stop driving here to avoid the bogged down traffic. Earlier we stopped at Calico Ghost Town. I had not been there since childhood and Nelly has never been there. Here is a photo of our visit.

As you can see it was really hot here in Calico Ghost Town, California.
